About Wonk
Wonk is a fair launch platform for meme tokens on Arc Chain. Anyone can create a coin, and everyone buys and sells on the same curve from the first block. There is no presale, no team allocation and no allowlist deciding who gets in early.
How a launch works
Every coin follows the same three steps, and the contracts enforce them rather than the site.
- Create. You give a name, a ticker, a picture and a description, and pick which asset the coin is priced in. The whole supply, one billion tokens, is minted once into the curve and never minted again.
- Bond. Buyers trade against a bonding curve rather than against a book. The price is a function of how much has been raised so far, so early buyers pay less and the coin cannot be bought out from under the market by a wallet that got in before the launch was public.
- Graduate. Once the curve fills, it closes and the liquidity it collected moves into a Uniswap v4 pool. From that point the coin trades on an open market like any other pair, and the curve takes no further part.
Each coin's page shows exactly where it is: how much has been raised, how much is left before the threshold, and whether it has graduated yet.
What you pay
- A swap fee on every trade, split between the coin's creator and the protocol. The rate and the split are set by the launch config and shown on each coin's page under About, so you can read them before you trade rather than after.
- Network gas, paid to Arc Chain in its native coin, the same as any transaction. It goes to the chain, not to us.
- Nothing to list. Creating a coin costs the gas of the launch transaction and no more. There is no fee to be featured and no way to buy placement.
Where it runs
The launchpad lives entirely in contracts on Arc Chain. Trades are routed through Uniswap's Universal Router, and an ERC20 you spend is pulled through Permit2, which is why the first trade with a token asks for a one-off approval before the trade itself.
Market history, holder lists and comments are read from an indexer that replays the chain's own events. Prices, balances and curve progress are read from the chain directly, so what the panel shows is what a block explorer would show.
What this is not
- Not a custodian. Your coins stay in your wallet. The site never holds them, never asks for a seed phrase, and cannot move anything without a transaction you sign yourself.
- Not investment advice. Nothing here is a recommendation. Trending, the King of the hill and Similar coins are sorted by numbers off the chain, not by anyone's opinion of what is worth buying.
- Not vetted. Anyone can launch anything. A name, a picture and a description are whatever the creator typed, and they can be copied from a project with no connection to the coin. Read the contract address, not the logo.
